We were fortunate to be able to attend the Cleveland Play House (@ClevePlayHouse) Community Open House on Saturday, October 24, 2015, which was part of their Centennial Celebration Weekend.

We also wanted to note that the Cleveland Play House invited other local theatres to have booths at the open house. We don't list them all here, but you will see many of them mentioned in our tweets.

One of the talks we attended at the Cleveland Play House @ClevePlayHouse) Community Open House was "Producing History: The CPH Founders and their Scrapbooks." It was presented by Melissa Hubbard (@Melissa_Hubbard) of the Case Western Reserve University Kelvin Smith Library (@CWRU - @KelvinSmithLib). Melissa's talk showed the importance of preserving the history of cultural institutions. Her talk motivated us to share our photos, videos, and tweets from this historic event.

In 2012, these were the newest areas of the PlayhouseSquare complex. PlayhouseSquare has regular public backstage tours. We really are past due for returning for a backstage tour, since there is now more to see at the Cleveland Play House and PlayhouseSquare.
